Sewing Pumpkin
Using your tapestry needle thread the long tail left from pumpkin and sew closed each open side of the pumpkin making sure to stuff with poly-fil before completely closing. You will do this by working the needle in and out of the very top stitches working in a complete circle. When you pull the yarn each end will tighten like a drawstring bag. Work a few knots to secure yarn. Hide yarn tails inside pumpkin. Repeat for both sides.
Sew on the stem
Your pumpkin is now complete!
To make pumpkin a little larger or smaller simply start with a foundation chain of 11 for smaller and 15 for larger. Work 20 rows for smaller pumpkin and 28 rows for larger pumpkin.
