Here is the free written pattern for the Mini Crochet Christmas Stockings.

Supplies:

• 2 colors yarn in size 4 medium weight.
• Size I 5.5mm Crochet Hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle/Yarn need

US Crochet terms;

• MC - Magic Circle
• CH - Chain
• SC - Single Crochet
• HDC - Half Double Crochet
• DC - Double Crochet
• FPDC - Front Post Double Crochet

Rounds 1-3 will be the toe of the stocking. Use the color you'd like for both the toe and heel of your stocking for these rounds.

Round 1:

• Place 6 HDC in the middle of a MC
• SL ST into top of first HDC
• CH 1

Round 2:

• Place 2 HDC in the top of each HDC from previous round (12 HDC total)
• SL ST into top of first HDC
• CH 1

Round 3:

• Place 2 HDC in the top of the first HDC from previous round
• Place 1 HDC in the top of the next HDC from previous round
• Repeat this pattern ( 2HDC into next stitch 1HDC into the next stitch) until you reach the end of this round, there will be a total of 18 HDC for this round.
• SL ST into the top of the first HDC of this round with your second color of yarn (this will start the body of your stocking.) 
• CH 2

Rounds 4-7 will start the body of the stocking

Round 4:

• Place 1 DC into the top of each HDC from previous round. (18 DC total) 
• SL ST into the top of the first DC from this round 
• CH 2

Round 5:

• Place 1 FPDC around first DC from previous round
• Place 1 DC into the top of next stitch
• Place 1 FPDC into next stitch, 1 DC into top of next stitch. Repeat this pattern until you reach the end of round 5. this round should finish with 1 DC into the top of the last stitch.
• SL ST into the top of first FPDC
• CH 2

Round 6:

• Place 1 DC into the top of the FPDC from previous round
• Place 1 FPDC around DC from previous round.
• Continue this pattern until you reach the end of Round 6 ( there will always be 1 FPDC around each DC from previous round and 1 DC onto the top of each FPDC from previous round.
• SL ST into the top of first DC from this round
• CH 2

Round 7:

• Repeat Round 5
• After you SL ST to finish this round CH 2 and pull up some yarn so you don't lose your spot, make sure NOT to cut your yarn. You will stop working on the body for now and start on the heel of the stocking

Heel of Stocking

     Round 1 of Heel

• Skip first 5 stitches from round 7
• Into the top of the 6th stitch attach color to be used for heel. SC into same stitch and CH 1 (this counts as a HDC)
• HDC into each of the next 8 stitches ( 9 HDC total)
• CH 1 turn your work

     Round 2 of Heel

• 1 HDC decrease into first 2 stitches 
• 1 HDC into the next 5 stitches
• 1 HDC decrease into last 2 stitches
• CH 1, turn your work

     Round 3 of Heel

• 1 HDC Decease into first 2 Stitches
• 1 HDC into the next 3 stitches
• 1 HDC Decrease into the last 2 stitches
• CH 1, turn your work

     Round 4 of Heel

• 2 HDC into first stitch
• 1 HDC into next 3 Stitches
• 2 HDC into last stitch
• CH 1, turn your work

     Round 5 of Heel

• 2 HDC into first Stitch
• 1 HDC into next 5 stitches
• 2 HDC into last stitch
• CH 1, fasten off heel color

     Finish Heel 

• Looking at the right side of your work, fold the heel section you just worked in half towards you so that all sides match up.
• Whip stitch both sides together 
• Pop heel out so that your work resembles a mini sock

Round 8:

• Picking up where you left off on round 7 place 1 DC into the top of first stitch from previous round
• Continue with 1 FPDC, 1 DC, 1FPDC, 1DC
• DC 3 together in the open spaces leading up to first stitch from the heel
• Place 1 DC into each of the next 8 stitches from heel
• DC 3 together in the 3 open spaces leading up to the body of the stocking
• 1 FPDC, 1 DC, 1 FPDC, 1DC, 1 FPDC
• SL ST into top of DC from this round (you will now have 20 stitches total from here on out)
• CH 2 

Round 9:

• Start this round with 1 FPDC then 1 DC, repeat this pattern all the way across this round

Round 10-13:

• Continue placing 1 FPDC around each DC from previous round and 1DC on top of each FPDC from previous round until the last stitch of round 13
• SL ST with new color to finish off round 13, CH 1

Round 14-15:

• Place 1 HDC into each stitch around 20 total. 
• Repeat for Round 15
• SL ST into first HDC to finish each round, CH 1

Round 16:

• Place 1 SC into each stitch across
• SL ST into first SC & fasten off
